About the Course
In this course, young children learn how to create and express themselves with Scratch. Not only will they learn how to solve problems, but they will also be designing super fun and interactive projects. In doing so, they develop skills which will set them up for future academic success.
The best part about this course is that young children are exposed to the inter-disciplinary nature of coding. From a young age, they will learn how they can use code to visualize math and language arts. Young children are empowered when they learn to code. Coding education enhances their development in numeracy and literacy.
Unplugged Activities
We introduce Scratch program blocks to beginner learners with a series of screen-free activities.
Easy to use interface
Children snap together visual programming blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, and sing. They will lean how they can manipulate characters, objects and sounds in the simple yet powerful paint editor. Once they learn this, they move on to learning how the programming blocks can make their characters come alive.
Interactive games & stories
Throughout the course, students will make their own interactive games and animated stories.
