About the Course
Learners will be introduced to a wide variety of computer science topics however, the complexities are masked behind fun characters, animations, and analogies that learners can relate to. Learners will also get to express themselves throughout the courses by bringing their own ideas to life. In addition to imparting fundamental programming skills, learners will also be taught critical problem-solving skills, logical and computational thinking through the use of a visual based programming language.
In this series of classes, concepts taught includes sequencing, events, loops, nested loops, conditionals, variables, functions, sprites, data, binary, and digital citizenship. By the end of the course, students will create custom games and animations which they can share with their friends and family.
Students will create their own games, art, and digital stories that they can share - all while developing problem-solving, collaboration, persistence, and computational thinking skills

Explore Artificial Intelligence
Students will also be gently introduced to machine learning, a type of artificial intelligence. They will explore how training data is used to enable a machine learning model to classify new data. Students will the learn social impacts of AI by training a simple AI model to clean up the Ocean.
